PORTLAND, OR
FRI, FEB 5, 2027
Portland has always made room for independent voices. On rainy winter evenings the city glows from the inside out: neighborhood marquees lit against wet pavement, record bins worn smooth by browsing hands, small stages where songwriters and filmmakers try something new. Culture here grows through people willing to tell their own stories. On February 5, Song of Sunset brings independent film, live music and conversation to Clinton Street Theater for an evening celebrating the voices behind the stories.
SONG OF SUNSET FILMS
Song of Sunset’s original short documentaries explore hidden histories, legendary creative spaces, and the people preserving stories that might otherwise disappear. The Portland film lineup will be announced soon.
SONG OF SUNSET: PORTLAND UNDERGROUND
Unlike a traditional concert or film festival, Song of Sunset brings together music, history, storytelling, and community in an intimate setting designed to create meaningful connections.
It’s a chance to come in from the winter rain, settle into a neighborhood theater, and hear the stories and sounds of the Pacific Northwest from the people who make them.
